Doosan Yonkang Foundation Donates 100 Million Won for Cancer Research to Seoul National University Hospital

Doosan Yonkang Foundation (Chairman Yong Hyun Park) awarded 100 million won (about $90,000) to Seoul National University Hospital on June 10 to support cancer research.
The fund will be used to support the research of three professors of medicine at Seoul National University Hospital: Jin-Young Jang, professor of the Department of Surgery (research on the risk of pancreatic fistula after pancreatectomy by auto-suture stapler), Min Jae Lee of the Education Resources & Development, and Jeonghwan Yoon, profession of the Department of Internal Medicine.
Doosan signed a cancer research funding agreement with Seoul National University Hospital in 2006 and has awarded a 100 million won grant every year, bringing the cumulative donations to 1.1 billion won as of this year.
