Doosan Hosts Third Triathlon, Aquathlon Competitions for Young Athletes in Korea

On July 24, Doosan will host the third Triathlon and Aquathlon competitions for elementary school and middle school students across the nation, in partnership with the Korea Triathlon Federation, at Changwon Sports Park.
A triathlon is a race that combines swimming, cycling and running; an aquathlon consists of swimming and running only.
The top runners at each grade level will be awarded special prizes, but everyone who finishes the race will receive a finisher’s certificate and medal. Online registration at the Korea Triathlon Federation homepage (http://www.triathlon.or.kr) is open until July 11.
In 2014, Doosan hosted the first Triathlon and Aquathlon competition for elementary and middle school students in partnership with the Korea Triathlon Federation with an aim to build talent for the triathlon, an official Olympic sport. Doosan’s continued support is expected to help encourage athleticism in the region and nurture future athletes.
