Doosan Group Chairman Jeongwon Park visited Las Vegas to continue his onsite management initiatives, returning to the U.S. for the second time in two months.
Doosan announced that Chairman Jeongwon Park visited “CONEXPO 2026,” the largest construction equipment exhibition in North America, held in Las Vegas until the 7th. The visit, following his field inspections at CES in January and domestic operations in February, was part of his onsite management initiative to assess the competitiveness of the Group’s Construction Equipment business—one of its core businesses.
Chairman Jeongwon Park visited the Doosan Bobcat and Doosan Mottrol booths and also toured the exhibition halls of global competitors to observe the latest developments in AI-driven productivity and autonomous technology commercialization.
Chairman Jeongwon Park expressed keen interest in the role of AI technology in the construction equipment market, stating, “As AI technologies rapidly evolve across construction equipment and worksites, the industry’s traditional focus on hardware technology is changing. By building on Doosan Bobcat’s unparalleled data accumulated through extensive experience, we aim to introduce differentiated AI technologies that define the future of construction equipment and pioneer the market.”

Held under the theme “Breaking New Ground” from March 3rd to 7th (local time) in Las Vegas, CONEXPO 2026 underscored the realization of “intelligent construction sites,” including AI-based automation and autonomous technologies, electrified equipment, and connected data solutions.
Doosan Bobcat set up an exhibition hall in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center and showcased over 30 cutting-edge products, including compact loaders and excavators, featuring AI, electrification, and autonomous technologies. The company also unveiled a new brand lineup strategy for its flagship compact loaders—divided into the mainstream “Classic” and the premium “Pro” models.
The “Pro” model delivers increased power and speed compared to the “Classic” model, with fully integrated AI capabilities. Customers can customize and incorporate AI features, including “Jobsite Companion,” which controls over 50 functions via voice recognition, and “Jobsite Awareness,” which automatically slows or stops when detecting obstacles and people.
While heavy equipment is typically used for repetitive tasks on large-scale sites, Doosan Bobcat’s compact equipment is utilized for a multitude of tasks in dynamically changing environments. The company’s proprietary “Jobsite Companion” technology, tailored to these conditions, provides AI-based guidance to less experienced workers, boosting productivity. Scheduled for release this summer, the technology debuted at CES earlier this year and was selected as a finalist in the “Next Level Awards” at CONEXPO 2026.
