Doosan Group Chairman Jeongwon Park attended CES 2026 and stated, “As highlighted at this year’s CES, Doosan will pioneer the energy market in the AI era through customized energy solutions.” During the event, Chairman Park personally participated in onsite recruitment interviews, actively seeking talent capable of driving AI innovation.
On January 7, Chairman Jeongwon Park visited CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, accompanied by senior executives including Doosan Group Vice Chairman Geewon Park, Doosan Enerbility Vice Chairman Yeon-in Jung, and Doosan Bobcat Vice Chairman Scott Park. The leadership team explored the latest technology trends and business opportunities centered around AI. They also held the final round of interviews for Doosan’s global onsite open recruitment program.
After touring the Doosan booth, Chairman Jeongwon Park remarked, “With the advent of the AI era, power demand—especially from data centers—is expected to surge, and energy supply methods will increasingly diversify. Doosan will lead the energy market by offering energy solutions capable of addressing diverse requirements.”
Doosan’s exhibition booth, located in the West Hall, was centered around the theme “Powered by Doosan.” The centerpiece was a model of the 380MW large-scale gas turbine for power generation. Last year, Doosan signed a contract to supply five units to a leading U.S. tech company—a testament to the turbine’s ability to deliver stable, large-scale power, making it a practical energy source for AI data centers that operate around the clock.
Also featured was a model of a small modular reactor (SMR), attracting attention as a next-generation power source. Its modular design enables flexible, demand-based power supply. The hydrogen fuel cell products, displayed alongside to the SMRs, offer short construction periods and modularity, providing versatile energy solutions for both primary and auxiliary power in data centers.
Physical AI technologies from Doosan Bobcat and Doosan Robotics formed another central theme of Doosan’s exhibition. In his New Year’s address, Chairman Jeongwon Park emphasized, “Doosan’s world-class manufacturing capabilities in power generation, construction equipment, and robotics—combined with our extensive hardware data—positions us as leaders in the emerging physical AI era.”
Doosan Bobcat introduced core software technologies for physical AI, including “Jobsite Companion,” a voice-based AI for field workers, and “Bobcat Service.AI,” which streamlines maintenance. Doosan Robotics unveiled “Scan & Go,” an AI-powered, 3D vision solution that performs tasks without coding, maximizing productivity in industrial settings. “Scan & Go” received both the Best of Innovation Award in the AI category and the Honoree of the Innovation Award in the Robotics category at CES 2026.
Chairman Jeongwon Park personally oversaw the onsite open recruitment event at CES—the first time Doosan Group has held such an initiative overseas. Many applicants were master’s or doctoral graduates from top U.S. engineering schools. Chairman Park said, “Beginning with this recruitment, Doosan will continue to secure talent with the capabilities and passion required for today’s challenges.”
This recruitment targeted international engineering students at U.S. universities, including those completing bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degrees. Since September 2025, Doosan has visited over 10 prestigious engineering universities—including MIT, Stanford University, UC Berkeley, Purdue University, and Georgia Tech—to attract top candidates.
Open positions cover R&D roles in Doosan’s key business areas such as AI, gas turbines, nuclear power, and robotics. To recruit the best, Doosan offers industry-leading compensation package. For prospective graduates, industry–academia scholarships of up to thirty-six months are available for remaining semesters. Successful applicants will begin work immediately after graduation.
A Doosan representative commented, “This year’s CES served as an opportunity not only to showcase Doosan’s differentiated energy and AI technologies, but also to secure future talent to drive these innovations. Moving forward, we will continue our global open recruitment efforts to broaden our talent pool and lead technological advancement.”
