Doosan Group Chairman Jeongwon Park attended CES 2026 and stated, “As underscored at this CES, Doosan will pioneer the energy market in the AI era with customized energy solutions.” Chairman Park also personally participated in onsite recruitment interviews during the event to secure talent who will lead AI innovation.

On January 7 (local time), Chairman Jeongwon Park visited CES 2026 in Las Vegas, United States, accompanied by senior executives including Group Vice Chairman Geewon Park, Doosan Enerbility Vice Chairman Jung Yeon-in, and Doosan Bobcat Vice Chairman Scott Park. The leadership team examined the latest technology trends and explored business opportunities centered on AI. They also conducted the final round of interviews for the global open recruitment program held onsite.

After inspecting the Doosan booth, Chairman Jeongwon Park remarked, “With the advent of the AI era, power demand—driven particularly by data centers—is expected to increase significantly, and energy supply methods will vary according to customer needs and environments. As we possess energy solutions capable of addressing diverse needs, we will lead the energy market with customized strategies.”

Doosan established its exhibition booth in the West Hall under the theme “Powered by Doosan.” The centerpiece featured a model of a large-scale 380MW gas turbine for power generation, for which Doosan signed a contract last year to supply five units to a leading U.S. tech company. This commercial product, capable of providing stable large-scale power, is considered a practical energy source for AI data centers that operate around the clock.

Also on display was a model of a small modular reactor (SMR), which is gaining traction as a next-generation power source. Its modular design enables tailored power supply according to demand. The hydrogen fuel cell products exhibited are characterized by short construction periods and modular design, making them versatile energy solutions for both primary and auxiliary power supply in data centers.

Physical AI technology, showcased by Doosan Bobcat and Doosan Robotics, was another central theme of Doosan’s exhibition. In his New Year’s address, Chairman Jeongwon Park emphasized, “Doosan boasts world-class manufacturing capabilities in power generation equipment, construction machinery, and robotics, along with extensive hardware data—strengths that position us to lead the physical AI era.”

Doosan Bobcat introduced core software technologies for implementing physical AI, such as “Jobsite Companion,” a voice-based AI supporting field workers, and “Bobcat Service AI,” which enhances maintenance efficiency. Doosan Robotics unveiled “Scan & Go,” a solution utilizing AI and 3D vision technology to perform tasks without coding, maximizing productivity in industrial environments. “Scan & Go” received both the Best of Innovation Award in the AI category and the Innovation Award in the Robotics category at CES.

Meanwhile, Chairman Jeongwon Park personally oversaw the onsite open recruitment event at CES to secure global talent—marking the first time Doosan Group has conducted an overseas open recruitment initiative at the group level. Many applicants were master’s and doctoral degree holders from leading U.S. engineering schools. Chairman Park, who participated in the final interviews, said, “Beginning with this recruitment, Doosan will continue to secure talent with the capabilities and passion required in today’s era.”

This recruitment was open to international students at U.S. universities majoring in engineering, including graduates and candidates expected to graduate with bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degrees. Since September of last year, Doosan has held recruitment sessions at over 10 prestigious engineering universities across the United States, including MIT, Stanford University, UC Berkeley, Purdue University, and Georgia Institute of Technology, to attract top talent.

The positions recruited cover R&D roles in AI, gas turbines, nuclear power, and robotics—key business areas for Doosan. To attract the best candidates, Doosan offers top-tier compensation among domestic companies. For prospective graduates, industry–academia scholarships of up to 36 months are available for the remaining semesters. Successful applicants will begin work immediately after completing their individual academic schedules.

A Doosan representative commented, “This CES served as an opportunity not only to showcase Doosan’s differentiated energy and AI technologies, but also to secure future talent who will drive these innovations. Moving forward, we will continue global open recruitment efforts to broaden our talent pool and lead technological advancement.”
