Doosan Enerbility announced on October 31st that it had received the “Excellent” rating at the “Win-Win Growth Evaluation 2024” conducted by the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership (KCCP).

The Win-Win Growth Evaluation was established for the purpose of promoting the mutual growth of large enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by fostering fair partnerships and cooperation among the companies across various sectors. The evaluation takes into account the overall assessment performed by the KCCP and the Fair Trade Commission’s evaluation of the fair trade agreement implementation, with the two evaluations being given equal weight. Based on a 5-tier rating system, the companies are rated as either Excellent, Very Good, Good, Average or Needs Improvement. This year a total of 230 companies had participated in the evaluation, with forty companies including Doosan Enerbility being given a rating of “Excellent.”

In 2023, Doosan Enerbility had increased the size of the Win-Win Cooperation Fund from KRW 24 billion to KRW 89 billion to facilitate the provision of low-interest loans to the Tier 1 and 2 suppliers.  The Partner’s Day event was arranged to promote stronger communication with the partner companies and to help the partners better respond to tightened ESG regulations, such as the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD). Training and consulting programs were also offered to support the partners.  Furthermore, efforts were made to cultivate an ecosystem favorable for start-ups by pursuing initiatives like the Open Innovation Project with the Gyeongnam Center for Creative Economy & Innovation. It was in recognition of all these efforts that Doosan was given the rating of “Excellent” for two consecutive years.

“Receiving such a rating is significant as it is an achievement that was obtained through Doosan Enerbility’s concerted efforts with our partner companies,” said Dongchul Kim, Executive Vice President of Doosan Enerbility’s Management Division.  “We aim to continuously promote strong mutually beneficial partnerships to achieve shared growth with our partners.”

Doosan Enerbility is carrying out various initiatives aimed at promoting mutual growth with its partners to ultimately establish a virtuous cycle of partnerships.  Plans are in place to continuously pursue active communication with partners and to carry out effective mutually-beneficial programs, such as helping partners strengthen their ESG competencies, providing support on the Open Innovation project, promoting the Benefits Sharing Program and helping partners enhance their competitiveness.
