From Nov. 20 to 26, Doosan Corporation is hosting the “Hello! Youth” photo exhibition, showcasing more than 100 photos and essays created by students enrolled in the Time Traveler program at Changseondang Gallery at the JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul.
Ahead of the exhibition, young people were taken to historically and socially meaningful places such as Gyeongbok Palace, Seun Market, and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art to take photos and write essays about their dreams and thoughts under the theme of “Hello! Youth” for five months.
“Time Traveler,” established in 2012, is Doosan Corporation’s main community involvement (CI) program which is designed to help teenagers develop openness toward the world and grow up healthy through an arts and humanities education.
On the opening day, the participants—including students, instructors and advisers—of the past five years gathered for a performance review.
They discussed how the program has helped promote healthy emotional development in children and shared their future plans.
