Doosan Yonkang Foundation Delivers Scholarships to 120 Students from Multicultural Households

On March 31, Doosan Yonkang Foundation (Chairman Yong Hyun Park) announced that it delivered 210 million won (about $181,000) in scholarships and 90 million won (about $78,000) worth of books and supplies to 120 elementary and middle school students from multicultural backgrounds living in Seoul. The recipients were selected among those recommended by the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education.
Under the scholarship program, a total of 660 elementary and middle school students from multicultural backgrounds have received scholarships, books, online classes, dictionaries and other supplies, since its establishment in 2010.
Doosan Yonkang Foundation is Doosan Group’s scholarship and academic foundation, established in 1978, to support scholarship, academic and cultural programs.
