- More than 1,000 employees attended the event, sharing research findings of major Doosan affiliates
- 338 research papers presented, outstanding papers awarded
On Aug. 24-25, Doosan hosted the Doosan Tech Forum 2017 at Chung-Ang University, Heukseok-dong, Seoul, bringing together more than 1,000 of Doosan Group’s R&D personnel from around the world.
The purpose of the tech forum is to share the latest research results, facilitate technology exchange and seek convergence opportunities among Doosan’s major affiliates—including Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction, Doosan Infracore and Doosan Bobcat.
This year marks the forum’s fifth year, and 338 research papers on the latest technology trends, including the Internet of Things (IoT), big data analysis, 3-D printing and remote monitoring systems were presented. Afterward, winners of outstanding papers in 13 research areas, including machinery, materials, and electrical and electronics were presented with a plaque and prize money.
In addition, prominent guest speakers and specialists gave lectures on the latest technology trends, including the fourth industrial revolution, artificial intelligence and failure diagnosis and preventive systems.
