Doosan plans to introduce its eco-friendly energy business centered on hydrogen production and utilization technologies and advanced next-generation automation and autonomous technologies to the global market.

The Doosan Group will participate in CES 2022 to be held in Las Vegas from January 5 to 8 to exhibit products and technologies that will transform people's daily lives into "Delightful Life*."

Doosan, Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction, Doosan Bobcat, Doosan Fuel Cell, Doosan Industrial Vehicle, Doosan Robotics, and Doosan Mobility Innovation (DMI) will participate in CES 2022. Doosan will leave South Hall—where its exhibition was located during its first participation in 2020—and set up a 450-square-meter booth in West Hall this time. West Hall is an exhibition hall where mobility-related companies in the automobile and autonomous vehicle industries gather.

Doosan will configure its booth to allow visitors to experience how advanced products and next-generation technologies are applied to their everyday living. The booth will be centered on hydrogen utilization technology. Visitors can explore the Tri-Gen system made of a 3.5-meter-high model in the middle of the booth. The Tri-Gen system being developed by Doosan Fuel Cell uses fuel cells to generate hydrogen, electricity, and heat simultaneously. The energy source is transmitted through each of the three paths. Visitors can see the generated hydrogen flying DMI drones, electricity rapidly charging Doosan Bobcat's fully electric loader, the T7X, and heat being transmitted to smart farms for crop cultivation.

Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction will also exhibit its hydrogen business. It will introduce the process of electrolyzing water with electricity produced by offshore wind turbines and generating green hydrogen and hydrogenating waste resources. It will also display the eco-friendly hydrogen turbines under development based on domestic technology in a one-sixth scale model.

DMI will introduce vertical takeoff and landing fixed-wing drones that can fly for more than 5 hours and 30 minutes and up to 500 kilometers, and power packs for hydrogen drones that have an extended operating temperature range below zero.

Featuring the largest lineup among collaborative robot manufacturers worldwide, Doosan Robotics will introduce a pleasant daily life with robots encountered in more and more areas with performances. A collaborative robot drummer installed in the booth will greet visitors, who can experience a camera robot specializing in performance shooting in a separate studio space.

Doosan Bobcat will exhibit its T7X, an all-electric, eco-friendly compact track loader that maximizes energy efficiency and greatly reduces noise and vibration by electrifying all its moving parts, eliminating the need for an internal combustion engine and hydraulic systems. Doosan Bobcat plans to hold a media day event at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas on January 4, a day before the CES opens, to unveil the T7X for the first time.

Doosan Industrial Vehicle will present autonomous technology to make people's daily lives more convenient. The company's autonomous forklifts will introduce logistics automation technology with collaborative robots. Doosan’s Electronics BG will exhibit advanced materials for 5G and electric vehicles, including the world’s first patterned flat cable (PFC) that combines the advantages of copper wires and flexible printed circuit boards.

We will focus on conveying the values that Doosan pursues for humanity while caring for the Earth,” a Doosan official said.
