Doosan has held the Doosan Match Play (KLPGA) since 2008 to heighten its brand value and help promote sports in Korea.
The Doosan Match Play is a regular tour tournament presented by Doosan at the Ladena Golf Club in Chuncheon, South Korea, and is the only match play event on the Korea Ladies’ Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) calendar.
During the tournament, the Ladena Golf Club attracts thousands of golf fans who come to watch the nation’s top professional golfers play. Many of them also bring their children and family members to enjoy the terrific views of the golf course landscaped with green grass, blooming flowers, ponds and more. The quick and easy scoring system makes match play especially popular among many golf fans as well as general galleries. The Doosan Match Play will organize a variety of types of domestic golf tournaments in the future and continue to provide new and various attractions for golf fans.

With a series of challenging mounds and 82 bunkers of all types, which create a great harmony with ponds and waterfalls, the Ladena Golf Club elevates the level of the Doosan Match Play and marks the beginning of another tradition.
In consideration of the impact of sunlight and wind, most of the courses face the southeast and all the courses are equally arranged in clockwise and counterclockwise directions. The design allows for a distant view with a unique feel. Accordingly, the beautiful course of the Ladena Golf Club inspires and draws interest among players and galleries.
