Doosan Art Center contributes to society through art. It is an ‘art incubator’ dedicated to the discovery of young artists and new works of diverse genres, including musicals, drama, music and painting.
Yeongang Hall the Musical Theater
Yeongang Hall was built in 1993 to commemorate Doosan’s 100th anniversary, and was subsequently remodeled into a musical theater in 2007. Many groundbreaking musical productions choose Yeongang Hall as their performance venue for its outstanding stage and sound and lighting systems.
Space 111, Theater for the Young Artists
Established in commemoration of Doosan’s 111th anniversary, Space 111 hosts performances of diverse genres and provides up-and-coming artists with valuable opportunities. It is the heart of the Doosan Art Center’s art incubator. Space 111 gets directly involved in productions in a bid to discover and support talented artists.
Doosan Gallery, Non-Profit Gallery
Doosan Gallery is a public gallery established to create a new culture in art. Young artists involved in painting, photography, sculpture, design and media are promoted both in and out of Korea. Also, free lessons are offered at the Doosan Art School to support the growth of modern art.
