On December 12, Chairman Yongmaan Park of Doosan Group visited the Baekdusan Unit of the Korean Army in Yang-gu, Gangwon-do, and delivered 8,000 cases of instant coffee mix and a monetary gift as part of the group’s “Love Tea” event.
At the event Chairman Park said, “We hope that Love Tea will benefit in a small way our soldiers who are faithfully fulfilling their duty to defend the nation, braving freezing weather.”
Doosan has conducted “Love Tea,” a social corporate responsibility campaign, since 1991, providing 34.48 million cups of tea to 335 military units over the past twenty-two years.
Five other Doosan affiliates, including Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction and Doosan Infracore, will also deliver their own “Love Tea” to military units in sisterhood relationships this month.
