EHS Rating System

Doosan has implemented the DSRS(Doosan EHS Rating System), comprising 14 elements, for the quantitative evaluation and continual improvement of EHS implementation at each site. The DSRS follows the general management system using the P(Plan)-D(Do)-C(Check)-A(Act) methodology.

14 elements of DSRS (Doosan EHS Rating System)

  1. 1. Leadership

    Evaluation of executives’ awareness of EHS risk, resource support for the company’s management, and exemplary actions to guide such leading activity

  2. 2. Planning and Administration

    Evaluation of effective planning and follow-up action plan to achieve EHS goals.

  3. 3. Risk Evaluation

    Evaluation of risk evaluation of all processes for effective EHS risk management.

  4. 4. Human Resource

    Evaluation of system for securing, retaining and improving the core competency of EHS-related human resources.

  5. 5. Compliance

    Evaluation of compliance with local laws, regulations, industrial codes, control systems and social responsibilities regarding EHS.

  6. 6. Competence and Training

    Evaluation of training system and its operation in order to improve the EHS competences of the organization.

  7. 7. Communication System

    Evaluation of effectiveness and efficiency of all communication system on EHS issues such as executive general meeting, on-site TBM meetings, etc.

  8. 8. Risk Control

    Evaluation of determined risk control (technical, design, management control, etc.) and operation of protective system including personal equipment.

  9. 9. Maintenance, Change Management and Inspection

    Evaluation of effective maintenance, inspection and MOC(management of change).

  10. 10. Contractors and Suppliers Management

    Evaluation of system management including partner selection process, definition of responsibility, acquisition of core human resources, proper supervision, monitoring and performance rating.

  11. 11. Emergency Preparedness and Response

    Evaluation of effective emergency plan, training system of emergency response group and special equipment maintenance system for minimizing damage in the event of an emergency.

  12. 12. Learning from Event

    Evaluation of incident investigation system and competence of analyzing root causes of incident and reporting practice of all nonconformance including accidents.

  13. 13. Risk Monitoring

    Evaluation of risk monitoring system for continual monitoring of EHS management and follow-up if nonconformance is identified.

  14. 14. Management Review

    Evaluation of efforts to continually improve the system by comparing EHS goals with performance.
