Ultra-super-critical pulverized coal thermal power plants require higher steam pressure and a higher temperature than current critical pulverized coal thermal power plants, ensuring better efficiency and a lower CO2 footprint. Post carbon capture technology selectively captures carbon dioxide from fossil-fuel combustion emissions (nitrogen, CO2, H2O, oxygen, etc), and is highly effective in eliminating carbon dioxide, the major cause of the greenhouse effect.

Pure Oxygen Combustion Technology

Pure Oxygen Combustion Technology

This technology, when combusting coal, injects oxygen exclusively rather than air in general, so that only carbon dioxide is emitted after combustion, enabling easy capture. Up to 98% of the total emission of carbon dioxide can be captured, and other harmful exhaust products, including sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxide, and mercury, can be decreased too.
