As part of our ongoing efforts to contribute to the future of education, Doosan has joined forces with Chung-Ang University. Our focus will be to work together to develop world class learning programs. Through the Yonkang Foundation, we will continue to support a wide range of programs including: scholarships, a science research fund, overseas observation tours for history and science teachers, and overseas book donations.
Opened in 2007 to commemorate the 111th anniversary of Doosan Group, Doosan Art Center features cultural projects funded by the Yonkang Foundation, and supports and nurtures young artists in theater, music, dance, and fine arts. Doosan’s “Tea of Love” program raises the morale of the Korean soldiers, and throughout the organization we contribute to the restoration of regions devastated by natural disasters. Recently, Doosan Infracore sent out 150 excavators to Sichuan, China to support the recovery efforts from the devastation of the earthquake there. |
