Doosan DST : Korean Infantry fighting Vehicle

The K200A1, a Korean infantry fighting vehicle, safely transports the mechanized infantry platoon away from the enemy’s weapons. It provides the fire power support to the infantry platoon with its gun port and 12.7㎜ and 7.62㎜ machine guns when facing the enemy. The K200A1 can carry a total of 12 people including 1 infantry platoon, a driver, gunner and commander. The combat weight is 13.2 tons.

It can run at the speed of 70㎞/h on flat ground and features outstanding acceleration of 6.5 seconds from 0 to 32㎞/h(10 seconds for K200). It can also move on water surfaces at speeds of 6㎞/h to allow river crossing operation without any supporting unit
