Unlike the K200, which is an infantry carrying armored vehicle, the K21 is an actual infantry fighting vehicle that applies the strategic concept of ‘boarded battle’. Even compared to other armored vehicles like M2A3 of the US and BMP-3 of Russia, the latest armored vehicle offers outstanding performance.

Developed with Korea’s indigenous technology, the K21 features a 20％ lighter structure, a 50％ improvement in cost competitiveness compared to world class Infantry Fighting Vehicles.

With the same level of off-road mobility as a main battle tank, the K21 features a pontoon system for a stable swimming capability. With a 40㎜ Cannon and 3rd generation of anti-tank missile system, it has sufficient fire power to forestall armored vehicles, main battle tanks and attack helicopters.
