No Bong, the 40㎜ twin naval gun system, is light and small so that it can be installed in all ships that are equivalent or larger than a coastal patrol boat. With outstanding firing and destructive power, it can be used for anti-air/anti-missile defense in ships, anti-ship/anti-air coastal defense, and anti-air/anti-missile defense in ground bases.

Before it was first mass produced in 1996, its outstanding precision and reliability-comparable to other equipment of the same class-were proven through on the-ground and on-ship tests during several years of development. Its small and light form allows it to be loaded on all ships above the small coastal patrol ship class. With strong fire power and great destructive capability, it can be used to defend ships against air attacks and missiles, defend the shore against ships and aircraft, and defend ground bases against aircraft and missiles.
